100 words summation of my life.

Over the past few months, life has been a helter-skelter. I’ve entered the life of many before me who dared to step their foot on HBP ground, as an HBP student. The studio work though at times had been a disadvantage due to my lack of drawing skills, the lectures and lecturers in particular at times has taught me how to cope up with life. Though I had experienced the hectic life in the Matriculation programme, this was even crazier, with sleepless nights and zombified colleagues, but in the end you’ve got to give everything to earn everything. Thank You.

Project 8 Finale

Our last project n RUS 104 was a dinner with performance done by all 7 discipline
with our Discipline, Quantity Surveying bagging the best costume that night,
which only costs us rm30 per head as we all chipped in to pay for the King's and Queen's costume.
the theme was Lost Kingdom which comprises of 7 Ancient Kingdoms that were around
the Malaya Archipelago,
we were chosen to represent Majapahit.
we took their fondness of Red in their attire to account and make our costumes all around it.
the Performers were dancers with them dancing to Asmaradana and a few
retro swings before wrapping it up with a mystical finale.
As we draw the curtains close to a wonderful semester and year,
I hope that all the experience that I had will help me in the long run.
thank you RUS 104

Project 7; XZbition Day

Exhibition Day is the most important day for all of us as we are able to show our best product out of all the 5 projects that we did as one group of Discipline with mine being Quantity Surveying

Here are 2 pictures of my fellow course mate showing their project being chosen to be showcased.
As you can see, we chose to make our booth look like an Modern Art Gallery,
with floating lines as our theme with that bear in mind.

Unfortunately, I lack pictures on exhibition day as I collapse on the chair below the Drum and slept till Noon. That shows you how much we Quantity Surveying put effort in our work,
we went all out as this might be our last project together before we enter RUS 105
where we will be competing against one another similarly as we had done during the amphitheater project.

2

project 2
Project 2 requires us to draw a natural and man made structure.
I emphasise on the structure, wall as it is what I think an important structure in construction.

Natural Structure
I drew bamboo as my natural structure, as the bamboo though hollow, are a solid structure
as it used heavily during construction as platforms in China mainly,
as a wall it is strong hard and firm but at the same time flexible.

Man made Structure
the walls in the Shelter that I chose are crossed and it gives a more stable and rigid feel to it.
A wall can be made in various forms such was the case for this structure

Lotus Light.
My free form model with themed Harmony is inspired by White Egyptian Lotus with the hands closing the
yellow pillar which is the pollen.
the Yellow pollen represents enlightenment that you get when you have harmony in your life.
the hands represents thoughts that you can get when you are calm and in harmony with your soul

DISCUSsion round large stool.
the small circular table in the centre is more of a teatable where you can put your books or drinks.
the resting chair is for lecturers and students alike to chill out
the name of our L-shaped model is LUnite.
